Cards Anyone?

My first “official” Stampin’ Up! workshop is just under a month away, and unlike the procrastinator that I usually am, I’m working on project ideas.  Here’s my second project for the workshop.  (The first is the “diaper-fold” pouch/chocolate/teabag holder from last week’s SWAT Team get together.)

For this card, I used Stampin’ Up!’s “Take A Sip” stamping wheel (which worked really well!), their “Adorning Accents heart embossing folder,” and the “Pinking Hearts” border punch.  Oh, and just the “Happy Birthday” sentiment from one of the “Easy Events” stamp set punched with the “Word Window.”  After I embossed the hearts, I sanded over the raised images with an emery board so the hearts are white.   You can click on the photo for a larger view.

Quite a few different products, but I think it turned out really cute.  Those of you who know me, also know I couldn’t make a card without a bit of bling, so there’s Crystal “Stickles” glitter glue in strategic spots on the cups.

I hope I’m not spoiling the surprise for anyone reading this who may be at the workshop in March.  Just think of it as a preview of coming attractions!  Thanks for looking and be sure to leave any comments or suggestions!
