Happy Day Card

I just wanted to share this cute card I made a few days ago using the Stampin’ Up! set “Happy Day” (pg. 112 in the catalog), and the new Bermuda Bay Ink.  I just love the intricate detail in the centers of the medallions.  Stampin’ Up!’s new foam ink pads really give awesome coverage!  The set also comes with “hello there,” “smile,” and “sweet, sweet moments,” so it’s really a very versatile stamp set.

The sparkly bling in the centers of the medallions is a 1/2″ circle punch of SU’s Silver Glimmer Paper — colored with a turquoise permanent marker.  Worked awesome!  The “Happy Day” clear mount set is only $16.95, and the wood mount is $21.95.  To see this set and more, shop on-line on my Stampin’ Up! website.   Happy stamping!

Statute of Limitations?

State laws limit the time within which someone can prosecute or sue someone for offenses.  I was going to try to list some of the time limitations for filing lawsuits for various offenses in the State of Ohio, but even the most concise texts on the subject were pretty lengthy.

Apparently, though, there’s no “statute of limitations” on the length of time someone can hold a grudge against someone else.   We can keep bringing up the offense over, and over, and over again as long as we want.  I was talking with someone recently that shared an incident that happened almost 50 years ago.  Someone had treated them badly and they still have hard feelings about it today — 50 years later!!!  That’s a long time to keep remembering exactly what someone else did that hurt your feelings.

Thankfully, God doesn’t hold grudges against us for our offenses (which in my case are many).  His promises and love for us are “new every morning!” His “statute of limitations” runs out the instant that we regret our offense and ask his forgiveness.
